N. Y., 15 June 1836; died at Albany, 16 May 1837, and was buried in Albany Rural Cemetery.
10605 IV. Harriet Cornelia Whitney, b. in Pearl Street, between Whitehall and The Battery, New York, 2 June 1839; married at Brooklyn, N. Y., John M. Richardson; and was living there in Dec. 1875, without children.
10606 V. Augustus Whitney, b. at 27 Dey Street, New York, 18 March 1841; died 28 March 1841, and was buried in Albany Rural Cemetery.
10607 VI. Mary Louisa Whitney, b. in Stone Street, New York, 20 March 1843; married at Brooklyn, N. Y., 5 Feb. 1861, Joseph Wilmont Cornell, a carpenter, son of Clark and Mary (Spencer) Cornell, of Clinton, Penn., where he was born 7 June 1825. They dwelt at Brooklyn for three years; at Clinton, one year and a half; and, in 1867, settled at Middletown, N. Y., where they were still living in Nov. 1875. 17706
10608 VII. Emma Augusta Whitney, b. in Bridge Street, near Whitehall, New York, 14 Sept. 1845; married at Tompkinsville, Staten Island, N. Y., 16 Aug. 1862, Edward Wisdom, a merchant, son of William and Mary (Warren) Wisdom, who were living at 380 Court Street, Brooklyn, N. Y., in Dec. 1875. He was born at Cleveland, Ohio, 14 Feb. 1841. They dwelt at Brooklyn till Oct 1863; at Montreal, C. W., till Nov. 1865; at Philadelphia, Penn., till Sept. 1868; and then moved to Chicago, Ill., where they were still living in Dec. 1875, at 151 South Peoria Street, his business being at 20 South Canal Street. 17713
10609 VIII. James Torbis Whitney, b. in Morris Street, New York, 16 June 1847; died at New York, 15 Sept. 1848, and was buried in a vault in Varick Street.
10610 IX. Catharine Amanda Whitney, b. in Mulberry Street, New York, 24 Dec. 1849; married at Brooklyn, N. Y., George W. Bain. They were living at 317 Jay Street, Brooklyn, in Nov. 1875, without children.
10611 X. Alfred Webster Whitney, b. in Mulberry Street, New York, 25 Feb. 1852; a mariner; was in service on the U. S. Steamship Franklin in 1875, unmarried.
