IX. John Benedict, b. at Turin, N. Y., 31 Aug. 1814; a merchant; married, 24 Sept. 1839, at Lowville, N. Y., Levantia White Miller, dau. of Dr. Sylvester and Elizabeth (Mann) Miller, of Lowville, N. Y., where she was born, 4 July 1815. They settled at Lowville, where she died, 4 Oct. 1857. He was a member of the Assembly of New York, in 1852, from Lewis County.

Y., a farmer, born 9 Feb. 181£, son of Silas and Nancy (Bush) Weller, of Westfield, Mass. They were living at Lowville, in March 1877. She has no children.
