I. Charles Whitney, b. in Clarkson, N. Y., 12 Ap. 1846; a fruit-grower and nurseryman; married in the Congregational Church at Wolcottville, Conn., 2 Sept 1873, by the pastor, Rev. Lavalette S. Perrin, to Marion Maria Brooker, dau. of Chester and Phebe Ann (Smith) Brooker, of Wolcottville, where she was born 17 Ap. 1847. He lived for one year in Sedalia, Mo.; settled in Kansas City, Mo., in 1869; and established there the River View Nursery, which he was still conducting in 1874.

II. Mary Louisa Whitney, b. in Clarkson, N. Y., 6 Nov. 1854; died there, 3 Sept. 1856, and was buried in Clarkson Cemetery.

I. Asa Everett, b. at Ellsworth, Conn., about 1781; a farmer; married Anna Studley; married (2d), Annar Hatch, of Kent, Conn.; married (3d), Mary Kellogg, of Cornwall, Conn., who was living at Ellsworth, Conn., in Nov. 1875. He died 2 March 1857, aged 76 years.

IV. Betsey Everett, b. at Ellsworth, Conn., 12 May 1787; married there David Washington Beardsley, a carpenter, son of Joseph Beardsley, of Huntington, Conn., where he was born in 1781. They settled at Great Barrington, Mass., and died there--he, 8 March 1854; she, 2 Sept. 1861, aged 74 years. They were buried in Mahaiwe Cemetery.

Russel Everett, b. at Ellsworth, Conn., 22 Nov. 1792; a physician; married there, 1 Jan. 1824, Caroline Ruby Parsons, dau. of Enoch and Amy (Studley) Parsons, of Ellsworth, where she was born 15 Ap. 1802. They dwelt at Copake, N. Y., till 1 Ap. 1833; then returned to Ellsworth ; and there died (she, 13 Ap. 1852; he, 5 Oct. 1865, aged 73 years), and were buried.
