p. 34, #156: Isaac4 WHITNEY was born 27 Sep 1694, according to Sherborn vital records, which makes him the second child.
p. 34, #158: Daniel4 WHITNEY was born 12 Sep 1710, according to Concord vital records.
p. 34, #43: Martha (HOW) WALKER was born 9 Oct 1669, Sudbury, MA, daughter of Samuel and Martha (BENT) HOW, and widow of Thomas WALKER. Administration on John3 WHITNEY's estate was granted 27 Feb 1731 to his son James4 WHITNEY, so he must have died before that date, probably soon before it, and not in 1735.
p. 34, #159: Daniel MOORE was born 13 Apr 1687, Sudbury, MA, son of Jacob and Elizabeth (LOKER) MOORE, according to Sudbury vital records.
p. 34, #160: James4 WHITNEY was the third child, not the second.
p. 34, #161: Elizabeth4 WHITNEY was the second child, not the third. She was born 29 Jan 1690, according to Sherborn vital records. Daniel WILLARD was born 18 Jun 1718, Roxbury, MA. Jonathan and John WILLARD, twins, were born 26 Oct 1720, Roxbury, MA. Benjamin WILLARD was baptized 5 Jan 1724/5, Cambridge, MA. Since Elizabeth4 (WHITNEY) WILLARD had children through 5 Jan 1724/5, she could not have died 4 Jul 1720 in Worcester. Most likely this date should read 4 Jul 1728. Jonathan WILLARD remarried 23 Jan 1728/9, Cambridge, MA, Mary COOK.
p. 34, #162: Richard HAVEN was born 28 Jan 1692/3, Lynn, MA.
p. 34, #44: Josiah3 WHITNEY was born 19 May 1663, not 1664, according to Watertown vital records, volume 1, page 26. He married first, about 1694, Mary -----, and second, 3 Nov 1713, Dorchester, Abigail MARTIN. He died 29 Dec 1717, Wrentham, MA, in 53rd year, according to Wrentham vital records.
p. 34, #165: Josiah4 WHITNEY was born 21 Feb 1698, Wrentham, MA, according to Wrentham vital records. He had only one wife, Elizabeth GRANT. It was Josiah4 WHITNEY [Josiah3, (prob.) Benjamin2, John1], not treated by Pierce, who married Mehitable FULLER and Lydia BALLARD.
