Arthur Eugene9 Whitney (Adam8, Jonathan7, Jonathan6, Joseph5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Adams8 and Mary Ann (Sylvester) Whitney, was born 4 Jan 1852, Weston, MA;[1] died 31 Oct 1915, Fitchburg, MA. He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA.[2]

He married, 15 Jul 1874, Fitchburg, MA, Anna Christina Smith, daughter of John T. and Elizabeth M. (Twitchell) Smith.[3] She was born Jul 1856, Fitchburg, and died 16 Oct 1934, Fitchburg, MA. She was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA.[4] In 1900 Census in Fitchburg, MA, she was called "Emma B."
