Augustus G.⁸ Whitney (Dwelly⁷, Lemuel⁶, Josiah⁵, Richard⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Dwelly⁷ and Emily (Derby) Whitney, was born 26 Sep 1845, Ashburnham, MA, and died after 1900.

He married, 10 or 12 May 1869, New Ipswich, NH, Martha S. Robbins,^[1] daughter of True and Sarah (Pike) Robbins. She was born 14 Sep 1840, NH or Chester, VT, and died 1 Apr 1910, Ashburnham, MA, aged 60 years, of heart disease.^[2]

He is proprietor of the Ashburnham and Fitchburg stage line; resided Ashburnham, MA, s. p. [sic]
