Charles E. Whitney (Andrew Jackson, Samuel) son of Andrew Jackson and Cornelia M. (Van Heusen) Whitney, was born 7 Oct 1865, Chicopee, MA,[1] and died 17 or 18 Aug 1916. He was buried in Union Cemetery, Charlton, MA.[2]

He married firstly, 12 May 1888, Brimfield, MA, Maude A. Alberty, daughter of James F. and Amy A. (-----) Alberty.[3] She was born about 1871, Monson, MA.

He married secondly, 12 Oct 1898, Oxford, MA (also recorded at Charlton, MA), Ellen F. (Lathe) Osgood, daughter of Edward and Almira (Smith) Lathe.[4] She was born about 1855, Charlton, MA.

He married thirdly, 11 Oct 1909, Worcester, MA, Nellie (McGrath) Dwyer, dau. of Patrick and Mary (Welch) McGrath.[5] She was born about 1871, Worcester, MA.

i. Maude Estella Whitney, b. 1 Mar 1889, Monson, MA;[6] "Estella Maud" m. 8 Mar 1906, Pittsfield, MA, Frank Patch, b. ca. 1883, England, son of Ephraim and Agnes (Smith) Patch.[7]
ii. Charles A. Whitney, b. 12 Oct 1891, Charlton, MA;[8] d. 15 Nov 1907, Charlton, MA, aged 16 years 1 month 3 days, of typhoid fever.[9]
