He married secondly, 31 Oct 1842, Belchertown, MA, Patience (Chase) Sikes "both of Belchertown", daughter of Jacob Chase. She was born about Feb 1792, Belchertown, MA, and died 13 Jan 1865, Belchertown, MA, aged 72 years 11 months, of cancer.[2]
