George H. Whitney (Amos), son of Amos and Harriet (Wheeler) Whitney, was born Nov 1863, Torrington, CT, and died 15 Sep 1930, Windsor, CT, aged 66 years.^[1] He was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, CT.^[2]

He married about 1886, Harriet Moore Scott, daughter of John D. and Harriet C. (Moore) Scott. She was born Jan 1865, probably Winchester, CT, and died 1949. She was buried in Riverton Cemetery, Barkhamsted, CT.^[3]
