Notes

The death records of sons Elisha, Daniel, Francis, and William, and daughter Mary Ann, all give their mother's maiden name as Parker, not Mills. The records of the other children by his second wife do not give any maiden name. Sally's death record gives no maiden name help. One possibility is that Sally's mother Sarah (Fuller) Mills may have remarried a man named Parker, although no record of that has been found. No record has been found of any Sally Parker marrying a Mills, or any Sally Mills marrying a Parker. The explanation for all of this is not apparent. Notice that Sally's mother was born Elizabeth Parker.
