Josiah⁷ Whitney, Jr. (Josiah⁶, Josiah⁵, David⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son ofJosiah⁶ and Mary (Barrett) Whitney, was born 20 Mar 1791, Waltham, MA,^[1] and died 4 Sep 1818, Ashby, MA.^[2]

He married 1 Jan 1816, Rebecca Rice, daughter of John Rice, of Ashby, MA. She was born about Mar 1793, Ashby, MA, and died 3 Dec 1859, Ashby, MA, aged 66 years 9 months, of fever.^[3]

He resided Ashby, MA.
