Family:Whitney, Simeon Howard (1787-1859)

Simeon Howard⁶ Whitney (Abraham⁵, Abraham⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Abraham⁵ and Rebecca (Dudley) Whitney, was born 20 Mar 1787, Harvard, MA,^[1] and died 29 Apr 1859, Leominster, MA, aged 72 years 1 month 9 days, of suicide.^[2]

He married 9 Aug 1811, Lancaster, MA, or 11 Aug 1811, Harvard, MA, Nancy Barnard.^[3] She was born 22 May 1786, Fitchburg, MA, and died 9 Jan 1856, Fitchburg, MA, aged 69 years 8 months, of lung fever.^[4]

He was born on the old Whitney place, followed farming and his trade, that of a stone mason. He resided in Harvard and Lancaster, but died in Leominster. He resided Bolton and Lancaster, MA.
