Sylvester8 Whitney (James7, John6, James5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of James7 and Lois (Blodgett) Whitney, was born 12 Apr 1810, Sherborn, MA,[1] and died 4 Jan 1897, Sherborn, MA, aged 86 years 9 months 23 days, of congestion of the lungs.[2]
He married, 2 May 1833, Sherborn, MA, Fanny Sanger,[3] daughter of Calvin E. and Mary (Goulding) Sanger. She was born 15 May 1810, Sherborn, MA, and died 6 May 1899, Framingham, MA, aged 88 years 11 months 22 days, of old age.[4]
He is a farmer; resided Sherborn, MA.
