Family Talk:Whitney, John Seth (c1789-1871)

"John Seth Whitney, born circa 1789, Halifax, New Brunswick, Canada, died 9 Oct 1871, Mornington Township, Perth County, Ontario. He was supposedly the son of a Josiah Whitney and may have been identical to Seth6 Whitney, son of Josiah5 and Hannah (Turner) Whitney."

Two comments on this:

1. Should this be Halifax, Nova Scotia?

2. As I understand it, the results of my DNA test confirm that John Seth was indeed the son of Josiah and Hannah (Turner) Whitney.
