My name is Glenn Wallace, from Germantown, Maryland, and I found this website while researching the Bohanon-Whitney branch. My research, called The COSIMO Project, began with Cosimo Gherardini of Florence, Italy in 870 AD, and developed through all his descendants. Currently, I have over 37,000 descendants in my database.

The connection to the Whitneys comes through Margaret Hall Bohanon (Bohannon) and her marriage to Henry Payson Whitney on January 20, 1850 in Alexander, Washington, ME, USA. From there, I'm hoping to find all their descendants through this website, which hopefully includes some of the people who belong in The COSIMO Project lineage.
