Frank Whitney
I wanted you to know that my Uncle Frank Whitney died yesterday, August 7, 2006. He was diagnosed with bone cancer earlier in the summer. I went to Memphis to see him on his birthday, July 15, and he was alert, but he was tired. He'd been in the nursing home for over a year. My mother Sybil Whitney Maddox is in a nursing home in Shreveport and talks about your mother frequently. She remembers those long-ago days more vividly than today.
