Bernard King⁷ Whitney (Samuel L.⁶, Jacob⁵, Benjamin⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Samuel L.⁶ and Delinda S. (Howard) Whitney, was born 3 Oct 1830, Phillips, ME, and died after 1880.

He married, firstly, before 1855, Climena Delia Hastings. She was born about 1825-1835, VT, and died afte4 1880.

He married secondly, 1899, Mary C. -----.

During the war of the rebellion he served in County. K, 30th Reg't Wisconsin. Vols.; resided Winnebago City, MN; 1875.
