David Brainerd7 Whitney (Thaddeus Seymour6, David Hyatt5, David4, Joseph3, John2, Henry1), son of Thaddeus Seymour6 and Laura (Rockwell) Whitney, was born 19 Jun 1837, Solon (now Taylor), NY, and died after 1910.
He married, 3 May 1865, Lincklaen, NY, Frances Elvira Poole, daughter of Horace and Eliza Ann (Thurston) Poole, who afterward removed to Lincklaen. She was born 12 Jul 1843, Herburn, NY and died after 1910.
Phoenix says the following:
- "... a farmer .... They dwelt in Taylor till 3 Feb. 1867, and then settled in Harison Valley, Penn., where they lived in Jan. 1876. He was town-clerk of Taylor in 1865."
