Rev. William⁶ Whitney (James Rex⁵, Caleb⁴, William³, Joshua², John¹), son of James Rex⁵ and Mary (Holland) Whitney, was born 1790, A, and died 22 Apr 1864, Jefferson Co., MS, where he was buried.

He resided Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
