John7 Whitney (Jeremiah6, (poss.) John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jeremiah6 and Lydia (Cole) Whitney, was born 9 Apr 1799, Weld, Franklin Co., ME, and died July 1859, Weld, Franklin Co., ME.[see note 2]
He married, 5 Mar 1822, Dixfield, Oxford Co., ME, Polly Temple.
