Calvin Whitney, parentage unknown, but brother of Haynes Whitney, born Woodstock, Vermont, 25 May 1788; married Eliza Everton, born 1800; died 20 Feb 1861.
Calvin Whitney was born in Woodstock, Vermont, resided there for awhile and with his brother Haynes emigrated to Thomaston, Maine, where he died in 1832. After his death his wodow married Joseph Thompson and she died in 1861. He died Oct., 1832; resided Woodstock, Vermont, and Thomaston, Maine.

Joshua G. Whitney, born 10 Nov 1823; married -----; resided Rockland; was a soldier in the 4th Maine. v. John K. Whitney, born 19 Jun 1826; resided Th. and rem. California. vi. Mary E. Whitney, born 31 Jul 1830; married Americus Long; resided Thomason, Maine. vii. Joshua Whitney, born 1833; married -----; resided Rockland.
