He married firstly, 10 Aug 1899, Lorain, OH, Ida Ladell Worcester of Oberlin, OH, daughter of Edward and Edith (Carter) Worcester. She was born 1879, Oberlin, OH, and died 7 Nov 1907, Pittsfield, OH.
He married secondly, 31 Oct 1908, Ashland, OH, Alice May Dirlam, daughter of Martin and Melvina (Gould) Dirlam.
Carlos is buried in Cedar Park Cemetery in Calumet Park, IL -- same cemetery as cousin Robert Neville Whitney.
