Calvin Whitney, parentage unknown, but brother of Haynes Whitney,[1] was born say 1793, location unknown, and died Oct 1832, Thomaston, ME.

He married Eliza Everton. She was born 1800, and died 20 Feb 1861. She "Elizabeth" married secondly, 11 Aug 1833, Thomaston, ME, Joseph Thompson, "both of Thomaston".[2]

Calvin Whitney with his brother Haynes emigrated to Thomaston, ME, where he died in 1832. He resided Thomaston, ME. He allegedly came from Woodstock, VT.

He may have been a son of Joshua and Sally (-----) Whitney of Wendell, NH, and Bridgewater, VT. Bridgewater and Woodstock are 3 to 6 miles from each other.

ii. Henry Whitney, b. 25 Apr 1818; d. in the south.
iii. William E. Whitney, b. 23 Jan 1822; m. Sophia A. Fales.
iv. Joshua G. Whitney, b. 10 Nov 1823; d. 25 Sep 1865, Camden, ME;[3] m. -----; resided Rockland; was a soldier in the 4th Maine.
v. John K. Whitney, b. 19 Jun 1826; m. C. A. -----.
vi. Mary E. Whitney, b. 31 Jul 1830; "Miss" m. 19 Oct 1850, Thomaston, ME, Americus A. Long, "both of Thomaston";[4] resided Thomaston, ME.
