Appleton Downer6 Whitney (Asa5, Joshua4, William3, was born 4 Jan 1779, Salisbury, CT,[1] and died 16 Jan 1851, Berea, OH.
He married firstly, 5 Jun 1800, Rutland, VT, Ann Esther Jewett.[2] She was born in 1782 and died 24 Mar 1801, Pittsfield, MA.
He married secondly, 19 Nov 1807, Lanesborough, MA, and 27 Sep 1807, Pittsfield, MA, Dolly Wyman.[3] She was born about 1790 and died 3 Jan 1878, Sinclairville, NY.
He resided Pittsfield, MA, and Berea, OH.
