Clarence M.8 Whitney (Simon7, Nathaniel Ruggles6, Simon5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Simon7 and Mary (Walker) Whitney, was born 1 Jan 1838,[1] Framingham, MA,[2] and died 6 Jan 1881, Boston, MA, aged 44 years 6 days, of malignant diphtheria.[3]

He married, 22 Aug 1862, Dorchester, MA, also 25 Aug 1862, Framingham, MA, Julia Ann Tilson, daughter of Josiah and Julia Ann (Sampson) Tilson, of Kingston, MA.[4] She was born 4 Apr 1841,[5] Kingston, MA, and died 31 Jul 1897, Boston, MA, aged 56 years 3 months 27 days, of cancer of the lung.[6]
