Robert M. Whitney (Family:Whitney, Leonard (1812-1887)), son of Leonard and Celia (Hart) Whitney, was born Jan 1846, Bartlett, NH, and died after 1910.
He married firstly, 6 Jan 1868, Charleston, VT, Martha Tibbets, daughter of Benjamin and Eliza (-----), or Hannah (Roule), Tibbets.[1] She was born about 1845, Stanstead, QC, and died 8 Oct 1888, Brighton, VT, of gastric fever.[2] There must have been a divorce, because she married secondly, 5 Oct 1878, Brighton, VT, Christopher Danforth, b. 1845, Holland, VT, son of Denison and Hannah (Blake) Danforth.[3]
He married secondly, about 1875, Cora S. Senter, daughter of James and Sophia (Plummer) Center. She was born Jun 1851, NH, and died 24 Apr 1905, Londonderry, NH, aged 54 years 2 months.[4]
