David8 Whitney (Nathan7, David6, Samuel5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Nathan7 and Eliza (Stevens) Whitney, was born 10 Feb 1833, Bolton, MA, and died after 1900.

He married, 6 Dec 1860, Worcester, MA, Harriett Louisa Howland daughter of Henry J. and Ellen Maria (Dow) Howland.[1] She was born 6 Nov 1833, Lancaster or Leominster, MA, and died 10 Oct 1903, Auburn, MA, aged 69 years 11 months 4 days, of creeping paralysis.[2]

He is a carpenter; resided Auburn, MA.
