He married, 6 Jun 1867, Portland, ME (The Portland, ME VR record the marriage as happening in Portland. The records of Waltham, MA on the same date record the marriage taking place in Maine), Mary Ellen Edwards, daughter of Theodore B. and Martha R. (-----) Edwards.[1] She was born 6 Oct 1847, Westbrook, ME and d. 1935 in Cambridge, MA.

He is a trader, life insurance and real estate agent, manufacturer, Episcopalian and republican; resided North Cambridge, MA. He was a Civil War veteran, and received a pension as a result of his service.
