ThomasC Whitney was born say 1667. He made his will 11 Feb. 1725, which was proved 9 Jan. 1726.

He married, Rebecca -----.

He resided Monetucker. He might be the Thomas Whitney, b. at Shean, Queen's Co., son of Thomas Whitney, entered Trin. Coll., Dublin, 17 Nov 1685, aged 18. If so, his father was yet another ThomasD Whitney, of Shean.

ii. John Whitney, of Moneytucker, m. Oct. 1750, Alice Pooley, and left issue.
iii. Richard Whitney, had an only son:

iv. Luke Whitney, of Mistereen, co. Wexford, whose will, dated 7 April, 1771, was proved 18 April following. He m. Margaret -----. Children:
a. Thomas Whitney, of Merton, co. Wexford, m. 1790, Alithea, dau. of Thomas Whitney, of Bush Park, and widow of Nicholas Whitney, of Old Ross. She d. 13 Oct. 1835. He d. 4 Feb. 1831. Children:
I. Luke Whitney, d.s.p. 1816, admon. 9 Jan 1818.
II. John Whitney, Lieut. German Legion, killed at Albuera 1811.
