Thomas^C Whitney was born say 1667. He made his will 11 Feb. 1725, which was proved 9 Jan. 1726.

He married, Rebecca -----.

He resided Monetucker. He might be the Thomas Whitney, b. at Shean, Queen's Co., son of Thomas Whitney, entered Trin. Coll., Dublin, 17 Nov 1685, aged 18. If so, his father was yet another Thomas^D Whitney, of Shean.

i.	James Whitney, of Moneytucker.
ii.	John Whitney, of Moneytucker, m. Oct. 1750, Alice Pooley, and left issue.
iii.	Richard Whitney, had an only son: a. Thomas Whitney, living 1725.
iv.	Luke Whitney, of Mistereen, co. Wexford, whose will, dated 7 April, 1771, was proved 18 April following. He m. Margaret -----. Children: a. Thomas Whitney, of Merton, co. Wexford, m. 1790, Alithea, dau. of Thomas Whitney, of Bush Park, and widow of Nicholas Whitney, of Old Ross. She d. 13 Oct. 1835. He d. 4 Feb. 1831. Children: I. Luke Whitney, d.s.p. 1816, admon. 9 Jan 1818. II. John Whitney, Lieut. German Legion, killed at Albuera 1811. III. Thomas Annesley Whitney, of Merton, b. 25 Oct 1794; m. 16 Mar 1825, Julia, dau. of Luke Gaven. She d. 14 Aug 1863. He d. 28 Apr 1876. A. Mary Elizabeth Whitney, m. Col. Alexander William Gordon, and d. 14 Dec. 1862. B. Alice Julia Whitney, m. 1848, Rev. Arthur Eden. She d. 1897. C. Amelia Sarah Whitney, m. 1859, Col. Henry Alexander Hewetson, and d. 1893. b. John Whitney, m. Anne, sister of Andrew Whitney. His will, dated 22 July, 1783, was proved 14 Aug. 1784. Children: 1. Luke Whitney. 2. Elizabeth Whitney. 3. Margaret Whitney. c. Mary Whitney, m. 11 May 1778, John Cullimore. d. Margaret Whitney, d. unm., and was bur. 31 Dec 1803. Her will, dated 18 Jan 1800, was proved 29 March, 1804.
