William Lauren Whitney (Alfred), son of Alfred and Phebe (Hammond) Whitney, was born 15 Aug 1851, Westkill, Lexington, NY, and died 26 Apr 1924, Pine Hill, Shandaken, NY. He was buried in Halcott Cemetery, Halcott Center, NY.[1]
He married, about 1872, Marietta Robinson, daughter of Nicholas and Emeline (Cole) Robinson. She was born 23 Jul 1855, Fleischmanns, NY, and died 25 Sep 1914, Halcott Center, NY. She was buried in Halcott Cemetery, Halcott Center, NY.[2]
