Jason5 Whitney (Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jason4 and Lois (Fisher) Whitney, was born 20 Oct 1780, Natick, MA,[1] and died 25 Jul 1844, Natick, MA, aged 65 years; married; consumption.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 12 Sep 1801, Natick, MA, for him "Jr." and his first wife Hannah Goodenow. She born 8 Jun 1783, Natick, MA, and died 27 Dec 1810, Dedham, MA. In the Dedham VR, she is shown as dying 27 Dec 1810 at age 28 of "tiphus fever". Died shortly after the birth of her last child, Nancy Goodenow Whitney, b. 26 Nov 1810, also at Dedham. Probably was having a very difficult pregnancy and returned to her parents home for extra care leading up to the birth of this child, and died a month later.

He married secondly, after 27 Dec 1810, Margaret Green.

iii. Eben Fisher Whitney, b. 10 Jan 1805, Watertown, MA.
iv. Hannah Goodenow Whitney, b. 2 Jan 1807, Watertown, MA; "Miss" m.(1) (int. 13 Sep 1829) 22 Nov 1829, Dedham, MA, "Mr." Arthur Danforth "of Dedham".[3] They were living in Boston, MA, in 1850.
v. Emerline Ann Whitney, b. 6 Feb 1809, Watertown, MA; m. 14 Oct 1827, Natick, MA, Elijah Hersey "Jr.", "of Dedham".
She and Elijah Hersey appeared on the census of 1880, Elmira, NY;
Elijah HERSEY Self M Male W 74 MA Retired Farmer MA MA
Emeline HERSEY Wife M Female W 71 MA Keeping House MA MA.
vi. Nancy Goodenow Whitney, b. 26 Nov 1810, Dedham, MA; m.(1) 14 Jun 1832, Newton, MA, Quincy Wheeler; m.(2) 23 Jan 1845, Natick, MA, David Morse6 Whitney.
Her mother died shortly after her birth, also at Dedham. Probably was having a very difficult pregnancy and returned to her parents home for extra care leading up to the birth of this child, and died a month later.

Jason5 and Margaret (Green) Whitney had no children.
