Milton8 Whitney (Asa Watrous7, Milton6, Asa5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Asa Watrous7 and Mary Ann (Wightman) Whitney, was born 18 Aug 1839, Pittsfield, OH.
He married, 4 Dec 1862, Oberlin, OH, Susan L. Ware. She was born 2 Aug 1841.
He is a carpenter and blacksmith; resided Alta, CA.
