Charles Carroll8 Whitney (Zebina7, Jonathan6, Peter5, Josiah4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), son of Zebina7 and Harriett (Cozzens) Whitney, was born 30 Jul 1836, Tunbridge, VT, and died after 1900.

He married, 2 Mar 1862, Tunbridge, VT, Hattie M. Perham, of Bethel, daughter of John and Sarah (-----) Perham.[1] She was born 31 Jul 1840, VT, and died after 1900.

He was first lieutenant of Company E, second Regiment Vermont Volunteers, during the war; resided Tunbridge, VT, and East Bethel, VT.
