William Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1820, and died after 1847.

He married Abigail -----. She was born say 1820, and died after 1847. See notes below for her possible identity.

They lived in Boston and Milford, MA.

Children of William and Abigail (-----) Whitney, probably incomplete:

i. Abby A. Whitney, b. 5 Jan 1845, Boston, MA.[1]
ii. Orraett Whitney, b. 10 Nov 1847, Milford, MA;[2] "Orra F." in 1850 census.

Notes

Milford Vital Records show the death of Abigail R. Whitney, born in Brookfield, VT, wife of William, daughter of Elihu and Betsey (Houghton) Morse, on 21 Nov 1846, aged 22 years 2 months 27 days (and so born about 24 Aug 1824).[3] This is just less than a year before the recorded birth of child Orraett, above. It seems very likely that there was an error in the birth year of the child, and that Abigail R. was the wife and mother in this family group, who died from the after-effects of childbirth.
