He married, 2 Mar 1862, Hattie M. Perham, of Bethel. She was born 31 Jul 1840, VT, and died after 1880.
He was first lieutenant of Company E, second Regiment Vermont Volunteers, during the war; resided Tunbridge, VT, and East Bethel, VT.
