1551 Whitney Family. 10791 II. William Simeon Deyo, b. at Newfield, N. Y., 3 Feb. 1832; died on the same day, and was buried at Newfield. 10792 III. Alonzo Deyo, b. at Newfield, N. Y., 30 June 1835; a teacher and farmer; married at Caton Centre, N. Y., 3 Oct. 1860, Charlotte Maria Cooper, dau. of Anson and Betsey (Caulkins) Cooper, of Caton. She was born at Corning, N. Y., 13 May 1842. They settled at Caton Centre, and were living there in Dec. 1875. He has been justice of the peace, and supervisor of Caton. 10793 IV. James Lewis Deyo, b. at Newfield, N. Y., 17 Ap. 1838; a teacher; married at Caton, N. Y., 6 July 1862, Luana Davenport, dau. of Henry and Lydia Ann (White) Davenport, of Caton. She was born at Dryden, N. Y., in Ap. 1842, and died in July 1866. He died without children, 12 Aug. 1863, at Caton, and was buried there. 17807 10794 V. Eunice Deyo, b. at Newfield, N. Y., 14 July 1840; married at Caton, N. Y., Horace Edwin Gilbert, a physician and surgeon, born at Guilford, N. Y., 2 Sept. 1837, son of William D. Gilbert. She died without children, 21 Nov. 1859, at Caton, and was buried there. He dwelt at Coney Island, near Fortress Monroe, Va., and died there, 3 July 1863. Chil. of Oliver and Elozia Gray (Whitney) Wilkinson. 4088 10795 I. Philena Wilkinson, b. at Townshend, Vt., 18 March 1829; died on the same day. 10796 II. Clark Reed Wilkinson, b. at Townshend, Vt., 13 March 1830; died 14 March 1830. 10797 III. Vesta Maria Wilkinson, b. at Townshend, Vt., 6 March 1836; married there, 21 Ap. 1861, Ranney Howard, a lawyer, son of Israel and Tryphena (Wheeler) Howard, of Jamaica, Vt., where he was born 25 Oct. 1834. Y., Laura Harris, dau. of Eli and Mary (Mulford) Harris, of Lindleytown, N. Y., where she was born. 17815
