Josiah6 Whitney (Abraham5, Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Abraham5 and Rebecca (Dudley) Whitney, was born 18 Aug 1781, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 26 Feb 1813, Harvard, MA, aged 31 years.[2]

He married 6 Feb 1803, Harvard, MA,[3] Sally Puffer. She married secondly, 17 Apr 1814, Harvard, MA, Ezra Wetherbee.[4]

He resided Harvard, MA.

i. Luke7 Whitney, b. 22 Apr 1803, Harvard, MA.[5] Was he perhaps the Luke Whitney, age 46, b. MA, residing in Springfield, Bradford Co., PA in 1850?
ii. Jefferson Whitney, b. 29 Nov 1804, Harvard, MA;[6] d. 22 Feb 1813, Harvard, MA, aged 8 years.[7]
