I am currently working on a little tree and will share it when I have done what I can.  There are some date/generational issues with the nformation you have on this website about the family. Anyway, wish me luck! Tom.

Edit My Whitney Line

Hello. I am Tom Johnston. I am interested in the Whitney family of Westmeath in Ireland, because I was born in their house and lived there for the first 40 years or so of my life. It was bought by my grandfather in 1918 from the Irish Land Commission who had purchased it from the Fetherston-Whitney then owner.

So I regret that I am not a Whitney relative, but I am interested in researching this branch. I suspect that there are no direct Whitney descendents of this "Westmeath" branch still alive.

I am currently working on a little tree and will share it when I have done what I can. There are some date/generational issues with the information you have on this website about the family. Anyway, wish me luck! Tom.
