Zebina7 Whitney (Jonathan6, Peter5, Josiah4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan6 and Eunice (Story) Whitney, was born 9 Dec 1799, Tunbridge, VT, d. May 16, 1890, b. East Bethel Cemetery, East Bethel, Windsor County, Vermont (Find A Grave Memorial# 9691999).
He married 3 Nov 1825, Tunbridge, VT, Harriett Cozzens, daughter of Benjamin and Anne (Wheaton) Cozzens. She was born 2 Mar 1800, Glocester, RI, and died 12 Mar 1869.
He was born in Tunbridge, VT; was a farmer. When 19 years of age he left home and resided in Bethel and East Bethel. Returning to Tunbridge he resided for thirty-two years on the farm on which he was born. Later he resided in Royalton, VT. He was a member of the Vermont legislature and for several years was a justice of the peace; resided Tunbridge, VT. Buried with his wife at East Bethel Cemetery, Windsor County, Bethel, Vermont.
