Charles Alfred9 Whitney (Eleazer Spalding8, Jonathan7, Jonathan6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Eleazer Spalding8 and Lucy (Peckham) Whitney, was born 10 Sep 1853, East Templeton, MA (or Fitzwilliam, NH, per marriage record), and died after 1907.

He married, 8 Apr 1874, Chelsea, MA, Rebecca Bourne Hinckley, daughter of Freeman and Mary A. (Tupper) Hinckley.[1] She was born 9 Sep 1848, Sandwich, MA, and died 24 Oct 1911, East Templeton, MA.

He resided East Templeton, MA.

He (as "Alfred Whitney") was informant on the death certificate of his uncle Jonathan Mason Whitney, in Dec 1907. In the birth record of daughter Etta, he was "Alfred C."
