She died 1821, at Fayette, Mississippi; married 3d, 31 Jul 1823, Mrs. Mary (Coleman) Smith; died Jefferson County, Mississippi; married 4th, 1831, Mrs. Henry (Witherspoon) King; died Meadville, Mississippi, July, 1832, s. p. He died 22 Apr 1864; resided Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Buried in Jefferson County, in the latter state.

i. James J.7 Whitney, born Georgia, 1815; died Selserstown, Mississippi, Aug., 1832.
ii. Caroline Whitney, born Georgia; married Mar., 1832, George W. Weast. She died 1842, at Washington, Mississippi, leaving William, Sarah, George, and one other; all are now deceased.
iii. Mary Ann Whitney, born 3 Mar 1820; married 24 Apr 1844, Absalom Spielman; born 24 Mar 1810; died 26 Jul 1887, at Greenville, Ohio; 11 ch.
