Cortland⁷ Whitney (John Fisher⁶, Isaac⁵, Jason⁴, Mark³, Benjamin², John¹), son of John Fisher⁶ and Phebe (Nelson) Whitney, was born 23 Aug 1862, Mt. Clemens, MI.

He married, 21 Jun 1886, Mary Augusta Cluby.

He was born in Mt. Clemens, and is a well known, and well-to-do farmer; resided Macomb, MI, s. p.
