Carlos Alvin9 Whitney [[[Family:Whitney, Edward (1844-)|Edward8]], (Asa Watrous7, Milton6, Asa5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Edward8 and Celia Adelaide (Spicer) Whitney, was born on 6 Aug 1878, in Pittsfield, OH, and died on 23 Jun 1955 in Chicago, Illinois.
He first married Ida Ladell Worcester of Oberlin, Ohio on 10 Aug 1899 in Lorain, Ohio. Her parents were Edward Worchester and Edith Carter.
He married second Alice May Dirlam on 31 Oct 1908 in Ashland, Ohio. Her parents were Martin Dirlam and Melvina Gould.
Carlos is buried in Cedar Park Cemetery in Riverdale, Illinois - same plot as cousin Robert Neville Whitney.
