Charles Carroll8 Whitney (Zebina7, Jonathan6, Peter5, Josiah4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), son of Zebina7 and Harriett (Cozzens) Whitney, was born 30 Jul 1836, Tunbridge, VT, and died after 1880.
He married, 2 Mar 1862, Hattie M. Perham, of Bethel. She was born about 1841, VT, and died after 1880.
He was first lieutenant of Company E, second Regiment Vermont Volunteers, during the war; resided Tunbridge, VT, and East Bethel, VT.
