p. 337, P2610: This Samuel Whitney was not son of Silas Whitney, since Silas's son Samuel was still residing in Clarendon, VT in 1800. Instead he was son of Aaron5 and Margaret (Cornet) Whitney, born 23 May 1764, Uxbridge, MA.
