Charles Hammond8 Whitney (Micah7, James6, Ezra5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Micah7 and Diantha (Walker) Whitney, was born 2 Apr 1838, Thompson, CT, and died 17 Jun 1878, Dudley, MA, aged 40 years 2 months 15 days, of bilious colic.[1]

He married, 2 Dec 1859 (or 7 Dec 1858), Dudley Hill, MA, Lydia A. Perry, both of Thompson, CT,[2] daughter of Josiah and Lucy (Chaffee) Perry. She was born 27 Aug 1838, Thompson, CT, and died 26 Dec 1894.

He was an innkeeper. He resided Webster, MA.
