He married, 14 Jan 1802, Stamford, VT, Phebe Burlingame.
Children of Daniel6 and Phebe (Burlingame) Whitney, probably incomplete:
i. Ira7 Whitney, m. 13 Jan 1833, Madrid, NY, Lydia Wilcox. ii. Elvira Whitney, b. 27 Dec 1823, Madrid, NY; d. 9 Nov 1906.
