Abraham5 Whitney (Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Abraham4 and Sarah5 (Whitney) Whitney,[1] was born 20 Dec 1748, Harvard, MA,[2] and died 26 Aug 1833, Harvard, MA, aged 84 years.[3]

He "of Bolton" married, 28 Feb 1776, Bolton, MA, Rebecca Dudley "of Acton",[4][5] daughter of Samuel and Rebecca (Hayward) Dudley.[6] She was born 27 Apr 1757, Littleton, MA,[7] and died 27 Aug 1838, Harvard, MA, aged 81 years.[8]

Abraham Whitney, Jr., was born in Harvard, MA, where he always resided. He was educated for the ministry, but subsequently followed an agricultural life, remarking that he was not good enough to be a minister. He was in the Revolutionary army, in a Worcester County company. He was puritanic in all his tastes and was through life a thoroughly good man, highly esteemed and respected by all. He resided Harvard, MA.
