James7 Jefferson Whitney (James6, Richard5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of James6 and Lucy (Reed) Whitney, was born "Jefferson" 26 Apr 1806, Harvard, MA, and died 5 Mar 1867, Fitchburg, MA, aged 61 years 10 months 21 days,[sic] of typhoid double bronchial pneumonia, resided South Street, Fitchburg, MA, carpenter, born Harvard, son of James and Lucy Whitney.[1]
He married 1 Jan 1827, Winchendon, MA, Emma Bethiah Follett.[2] She was born about 1801, MA, and died after 1870.
