Abigail Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1770, and "Mrs." died 10 Oct 1837, Newburyport, MA, aged 67 years.
Marriage intentions were published 25 May 1803, Newbury, MA, for her "of Newburyport" and Enoch Titcomb.[1] She married, 28 Jul 1803, Newburyport, MA, Enoch Titcomb "of Newbury",[2] son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Pettingell) Titcomb. He was born 27 Jan 1774, Newbury, MA,[3] and "Capt." died 2 Jan 1838, Newburyport, MA, aged 65 years.[4]

i. Elizabeth Titcomb, b. 13 Apr 1804, Newbury, MA;[5] d. 16 Jun 1822, Newburyport, MA.[6] i. Nancy Titcomb, b. 15 May 1806, Newbury, MA.[7] i. Enoch Titcomb, b. 13 Apr 1809, Newbury, MA;[8] d. 7 Jul 1833, Newbury, MA, aged 24 years.[9]
Notes
It seems unlikely that she was an otherwise unrecorded daughter of Elisha and Abigail (Dana) Whitney of Newburyport, since they weren't married until 1774. She could have been his daughter by an otherwise unknown earlier wife. It is tempting to think that it was her baptism recorded on 29 Oct 1769, Brookline, MA, as daughter of Elisha. I have tentatively identified that man as Elisha6 and Abigail (Dana) Whitney, but they had another daughter Abigail born nine years later, who married someone else. In summary, her parentage is unknown.
